Bank of America Helps United Way Reach Goal

Bank of America Charitable Foundation
Helps United Way Reach Their Goal

As United Way of Hernando County continues to impact the community through local Health, Education and Financial Stability programs, Bank of America Charitable Foundation invested $5,000 into the Community Investment Fund to help carry out this endeavor.

Because of this generous contribution, United Way is happy to announce they have exceeded their 2013-2014 Campaign Pledge goal of $675,000. This grant will enable United Way to continue supporting local Initiative Programs in Hernando County and help those in need.

“With Hernando County's unemployment rate higher than the state of Florida's, United Way of Hernando County's work is critical,” said Bill Goede, Tampa Bay president, Bank of America. “Through this grant, we can help to address the demand for basic needs.”

Thank You BOA! For more information on how investments impact the Hernando County community and UWHC’s initiative achievements, keep an eye on UWHC's 'NEWS' section or LIKE us www.facebook.com/UWHC4030
