United Way of Hernando County strategically provides Community Investment Funds for local programs and partnerships that address identified community needs and achieve measurable results through HEALTH, EDUCATION, & FINANCIAL STABILITY.
In order to qualify for United Way's 2016-2017 Community Investment Grant (CIG) opportunity, your organization must complete United Way's CIG Eligibility Form (1 page), sign, and return to the UW Office prior to deadline: Friday, November 20, 2015 - no later than 5:00 PM. Download United Way's CIG Eligibility Form for guidelines, requested criteria, a sample of United Way's Agency Affiliation Agreement, and more information.

If your organization meets all criteria, you will be contacted and invited to attend the CIG Agency Workshop held in early December 2015, where an in depth review of the actual grant process will take place. (Note: the Agency Workshop is mandatory for all applying agencies. All applying programs are evaluated on a zero-based funding scale.)
