"KICK" Start to Early Literacy

United Way’s Annual Kickball Tournament

Spring Hill, FL – (February 11, 2019) – Enjoy watching sports and looking for something fun to do with your family on the weekend? Come out to Anderson Snow Park on Saturday, February 16th and root on your favorite community members as they compete in United Way of Hernando County’s 4th Annual “KICK” Start to Early Literacy Kickball Tournament. The proceeds raised from this annual event benefit United Way’s Dolly Parton Imagination Library (DPIL) program, which supplies each Hernando child enrolled with a free book every month until the age of five.

Kickball Teams from the following local companies:

·         Patriot Lending Services

·         Publix

·         Target

·         Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative 

This Family Fun Day will include:

·         FREE Admission

·         BBQ

·         Food Truck Vendors

·         Entertainment

·         Raffles

·         Bounce House

·         And so much more!

Don’t miss out on your opportunity to watch a few kickball games of friendly competition and support early literacy. The winning team will be crowned the 2019 champs and get to take home the exclusive Ultimate Traveling Trophy.
