United Way of Hernando County are hosting their annual Dementia Care Seminar for families and professional caregivers focusing on loved ones living with Dementia or Alzheimer's. This FREE seminar is open to the community and offers educational and interactive discussions highlighting struggles, solutions, and the power of hope.
During this seminar you will learn helpful tips, hear motivating stories, and gain knowledge from compelling speakers. Gary LeBlanc, a local author and caregiver, and Linda Burhans, national speaker on caregiver advocacy, will be sharing their experience through the journey of caregiving. There will be refreshments, helpful vendors, resources, and free memory screenings conducted by Renstar Medical Research.
If this disease impacts your life or someone you know, you are not alone. Take advantage of this opportunity and meet fellow community members who are grappling the same battles.
Join us on Thursday, January 24th at 9:30am-12:00pm at St. Frances Cabrini Church, Main Hall. 5030 Mariner Blvd. Spring Hill, FL 34609. RSVP to the United Way office by calling 352-688-2026 or email outreach@UnitedWayHernando.org.
