Young and excited, Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind students ventured their way over to United Way of Hernando County to volunteer and dedicate their time. Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind's Executive Director, Silvia Perez, sat down with the Transition Students as they discussed what they wanted to do to make an impact in Hernando County. As United Way's Executive Director, Angela Bonfardino, gave the students various hands on tasks, the group productively worked hard to get the job done. Between all of the giggles and strong relationships built, it was safe to say that everyone had a blast! Thank you Lighthouse for everything you do!
