CINEMA FOR A CAUSE CHARITY EVENT RESULTS ANNOUNCED
2014 EVENT EXCEEDED LAST YEAR’S RESULTS

Georgia Theatre Company is proud to announce the results of their 2nd Annual Cinema for a Cause event in Florida held on Sunday, September 21, 2014.

100% of all admission tickets, concession purchases, and extra donation bowl money raised on Sunday, September 21st at Beacon Stadium Cinemas 12 in Brooksville, FL went to the event total to be donated to local charity groups chosen by each theatre staff in their markets.

Recipient charity groups for Florida market this year were the United Way of Hernando County and Building a Foundation; both groups to receive one-half of proceeds from event day which totaled $9,311.59, doubling last year’s event contributions!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the movies on event day and for their generosity in helping make this day special for the deserving charities in our local area!

A special thanks to Miguel Velazquez and Staywell Kids for their support of this event, as well as Texas Roadhouse and Chick-fil-A.
