Capital City Banks On United Way Impact

Financial Support for Financial Stability Initiatives

Spring Hill, FL- On Thursday, May 28th, United Way of Hernando County’s Fourth Quarter General Board Meeting presented more than year-end reports and next year’s projected goals. Past United Way Board of Director and Capital City Bank Hernando/Pasco President, Sam Shrieves awarded the group with a large check for $1,200! This donation was granted by Capital City Bank to the United Way team and their partner programs to support families and promote self-sufficiency. 

“My involvement and support of United Way of Hernando County dates back to the early 80’s," said Sam Shrieves, Hernando/Pasco President, Capital City Bank. "They are passionate about their work & mission of helping individuals and families. Many residents of Hernando County have been touched by United Way because of faithful donors, effective partnerships and compassionate volunteers."

Thanks to the continued support from Capital City Bank and other corporate partners, United Way’s outreach and community impact has consistently increased over the years. All investments in United Way of Hernando County remain local and impact Health, Education, & Financial Stability programs within our community.
