Dementia Care Seminar Empowers Caregivers and Community Health Workers

On Tuesday, May 17th, the community gathered at the Brooksville Wesleyan Church for the 6th Annual Dementia Care Seminar.

Gary LeBlanc, a local author and caregiver, Linda Burhans, national speaker on caregiver advocacy, and Andrea Read, Acti-Kare Responsive In Home Care Dementia Specialist shared their experience through the journey of caregiving.

"Wonderful wealth of knowledge," "Thought provoking Seminar," were just a few comments shared from over 50 community members who attended.
