HURRICANE DISASTER RELIEF SUPPORT GROUPS: EAST SIDE

  • WHEN: 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
  • WHERE: The East Hernando Library Branch - 6457 Windmere Rd., Brooksville, FL 34607
  • PURPOSE: Hernando County's Long-Term Recovery Group's "Emotional & Spiritual HealthCare Committee" has made it their mission to provide on-going support groups for disaster survivors, those impacted by previous storms/hurricanes, or those seeking relief.
  • WHAT TO EXPECT: Join our friends from NAMI Hernando for confidential support groups with certified Recovery Peer Specialists who understand your concerns. Gain immediate assistance and crisis support to help you cope with anxiety, feat or stress related to storms. Benefit from community connection where shared experiences are discussed with others facing similar challenges.
  • OTHER OPPORTUNITIES: These Support Groups are also hosted on the West side of Hernando County the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month from 1:00pm-2:30pm at the Weeki Wachee Area Club - 7442 Shoal Line Blvd. Weeki Wachee, FL 34607, as well as an online option via Zoom (Meeting ID 976 3942 5867)
