VITA VOLUNTEER MEET & GREET

  • WHEN: Thursday, October 22, 2026 @ 9:30AM-11:00AM
  • WHERE: Hosted at Rookies Family Grille & Bar - 3095 Anderson Snow Rd, Spring Hill, FL 34609
  • PURPOSE: This VITA Volunteer Meet & Greet is for interested and active volunteers for United Way of Hernando County's annual Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Learn more about VITA and how this volunteer driven program supported over 1,900 local households last year alone!

  • VOLUNTEER APPLICATION: We ask that all volunteers please submit their VITA Volunteer Application by CLICKING HERE or visiting www.UnitedWayHernando.org/Volunteer. 
  • PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers will be active February 2027 until mid-April 2027, weekly. Days and shifts are flexible. All VITA Volunteers are trained and certified by the IRS. Training will take place January 5-7, 2027 at PHSC Spring Hill Campus.
