United way's "5 days of caring" in november
A MONTH-LONG INITIATIVE TO UNITE VOLUNTEERS & SPARK COMMUNITY GIVING
Hernando County, FL - United Way of Hernando County will be hosting their “5 DAYS OF CARING” throughout the month of November. This month-long initiative promotes local volunteerism and multitude giving opportunities, bringing people together who have a passion for helping others.
United Way’s “5 DAYS OF CARING” is a month-long series of five separate volunteer/service days (one per week) in November, each focused on a different theme or community need — from food distribution drives and educational trail-installations to neighborhood beautification and support for caregivers. Through coordinated local efforts, this volunteer initiative fosters community engagement and ensures that giving back in meaningful ways is accessible for individuals, families and workplaces alike.
November 2025’s line-up:
Week 1) Saturday, November 1st – Passion Projects Party & Lifesouth Blood Drive
Week 2) Friday, November 7th – Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Seminar
Week 3) Wednesday, November 12th – Dementia Care Seminar for Caregivers
Week 4) Thursday, November 20th – Resiliency Lab: Crisis Care Workshop
Week 5) Monday, November 24th – Born Learning Trail Installation at Veteran’s Memorial Park
