UNITED WAY'S HOLIDAY CARD COLORING CONTEST
Hernando County Students Invited to Share Their Creativity
Hernando County, FL — United Way of Hernando County is pleased to announce its 11th Annual Holiday Card Coloring Contest. Children in Hernando County are invited to participate by coloring the contest template and submitting their work for a chance to be featured on United Way’s holiday card. This year’s contest will kick off on Monday, October 13th and submissions will be accepted until Friday, December 5, 2025.
United Way invites preschool through 5th grade aged children in the Hernando County School system, daycare, private schools, Hernando eSchool, or home-schooled students to download a
special holiday-themed coloring page from the United Way website. Once completed, entries can be scanned & submitted digitally to impact@UnitedWayHernando.org, mailed, or dropped
off at the United Way office: 4028 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, FL, 34606. The winners’ artwork will be featured on United Way’s official holiday card, which will be distributed in December to
over 200 community partners, local businesses, Board of Directors, partner agencies, and donors.
“Hernando County has so much young talent,” said Angie Bonfardino, Executive Director of United Way. “Our business partners and supporters look forward to receiving the showcased card artwork every year. It’s become quite the tradition.”
All entries will be reviewed by members of United Way’s Student Board. Up to five winning designs will be selected based on creativity, use of color, and embodiment of the "LIVE UNITED" spirit. Teachers and families of selected students will be contacted directly.
