United Way Offers FREE Dementia Care Seminar

Dynamic speakers share their experiences and knowledge with Dementia and Alzheimer’s

United Way of Hernando County is hosting a FREE Dementia Care Seminar for families & professional caregivers focusing on loved ones living with Dementia or Alzheimer's. This seminar is open to the community and offers educational and interactive discussions highlighting struggles, solutions, and the power of hope.

Learn helpful tips, hear motivating stories, and gain knowledge from dynamic speakers. Gary LeBlanc, a local author and caregiver, and Linda Burhans, national speaker on caregiver advocacy, will be sharing their experience through the journey of caregiving. Free memory screenings will also be conducted by Stedman Clinical Trails.

If this disease impacts your life or someone you know, you are not alone. Take advantage of this opportunity and meet fellow community members who are grappling the same battles.

Join us on Wednesday, January 24th at 9:30am-12:00pm at St. Frances Cabrini Church, Classrooms 9, 10, & 11. 5030 Mariner Blvd. Spring Hill, FL 34609. RSVP to Gary LeBlanc at 352-345-6270 or email info@commonsensecaregiving.com.
