- WHY: The Hernando County Emergency Food & Shelter Program (ESFP) Local Board is charged with the appropriate distribution of funds by Congress to help expand the capacity for programs to provide food, shelter, and emergency assistance services within Hernando County. In preparation of the Phase 42 release, the Hernando EFSP Local Board has announced they will be conducting an educational & mandatory virtual workshop for Hernando agencies interested in applying for EFSP and submitting an application request.
