Help “KICK” Start Hernando’s Early Literacy
United Way’s 5th Annual Kickball Tournament

Spring Hill, FL – (February 10, 2020) – Hernando’s Dolly Parton Imagination Library program has graciously been provided by United Way of Hernando County for pre-school children for over ten years. On February 22nd, United Way will host their 5th Annual “KICK” Start to Early Literacy Kickball Tournament at Anderson Snow Park in support of this early literacy initiative. Join them as teams from across the county compete for this year’s Ultimate Traveling Trophy in a single elimination tournament. This event is proudly sponsored by Carter Foreman PLLC, Family Chiropractic Center for Wellness, Centennial Bank, and Simply Healthcare.

The proceeds raised from this exciting event will benefit United Way’s Dolly Parton Imagination Library (DPIL) program, which provides enrolled Hernando County children with a free book in the mail every month, from birth-age five.

Kickball Teams will compete from the following companies:

  • Publix
  • Target
  • Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative
