- This FREE QPR training is intended to teach individuals how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, and provides guidelines on how to:
- Question a person about potential suicidal thoughts
- Persuade them to seek help
- Refer them to appropriate professional services.
- Provide a list of local and national resources that can assist in need.
- Learn the myths and facts of suicide and mental health, and equip yourself with knowledge to help anyone at risk of suicide through QPR. This Suicide Prevention Training is supported by United Way of Hernando County and will be facilitated by our partners at BayCare Behavioral Health.
