On Tuesday, April 29th, United Way of Hernando County Board of Directors and staff gathered to thank Publix Mangers and Associates for their confidence in United Way’s community work.  Publix Super Markets Charities, Inc. proudly presented United Way with a $163,400 contribution to be invested in local Health, Education, and Financial Stability partner programs here in Hernando County.

Associates from Hernando’s eight Publix Stores pledged a total of $218,721 to United Way’s Annual Campaign, with Publix Super Market Charities matching an additional 74 cents for every dollar donated.
