During the COVID-19 pandemic, accessing your credit was very important due to disruptions in both work history and issues within many major industries.  That's why Equifax, Experian and TransUnion began offering free weekly online credit reports.

While Federal law requires each of the three nationwide consumer credit reporting companies - Equifax, Experian and TransUnion - to give you a free credit report every 12 months if you ask for it, they have waived the 12-month requirement and you can review your credit report once a week for free at the present time. This can be accomplished either online or by mail if you prefer.

Getting your credit reports is easy as you can get a free report once a week through You can request all three of your reports at once, or you can space them out over the course of the year. By requesting each report separately, you can check your overall credit history several times over the course of the year to ensure there are no discrepancies and it is accurate.
